I’m often asked a number of questions by clients who are interested in my locksmith services; here are the most popular ones. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
The fee is always £50 for an emergency call out between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The fee is £75 during weekends and bank holidays. This price covers the call out and the labour cost of getting you into your home or office and securing your property. The only time you will face extra charges is if I have to replace anything.
I cover Trowbridge, Frome, Westbury, Devizes, Corsham, Chippenham, Bath and their surrounding areas.
In an emergency, I will get to you within half an hour, unless I’m on another emergency call out; in which case I will give you an estimated time of arrival when you call me.
If I can identify your type of lock over the telephone, I can give you an immediate quote. For car locks, I can give you a quote within 10 minutes in the day time and the next morning if you phone at night. I can only give you a quote for multi-point locks by looking at the lock on site.
A multi-point lock is found on uPVC or composite doors (wooden doors with metal plates, front and back) and bolts the door into the frame.
Currently, I am able to accept cash, cheques, debit card, credit card and payment via paypal. Please contact me for more information on paypal.
